Details: I’m moving out June 1, leaving this beautiful big house and 2 great roommates behind! It’s a fantastic, historical house with a ton of space (living + dining room), all new kitchen appliances, tons of storage and 1 full/1 half bath. The size of the place and location honestly make this place a steal. You’d be house with two other roommates who are great and very respectful. We hang out and cook together, watch tv and are very communicative about pandemic procedures as a rule.
The room: It’s the smallest room in the house, but is still quite large. Enough for a queen bed, desk set up, dresser and more. The closet is quite large and located in your private hallway, which houses the in-house laundry unit. The room is right next to the very spacious full bath, which has a ton of storage for the three housemates.
Location: You can’t beat the location, right in the heart of Shaw, but located on a quiet street. There’s tons of street parking and you’re right by the metro.
Timing: My new lease starts May 15, so move in can be June 1, or earlier for a pro-rated rate. You would be taking over my part on the lease.
Pricing: The room is 1,007 per month, plus utilities (which never go beyond 150). There is no AC, but we have window units galore. The radiator heat in the winter works great.
