The Alpina AJ4 Max is an excellent ski boot for growing skiers who are first timers or more experienced on the mountain. Alpina uses a VCP (Volume Control Plate) that allows you to increase or decrease the volume in the boot by swapping out the boot boards. A Velcro Strap adds a snug fit across the shin and a small amount of rebound to help your little skier have control and responsiveness over his skis.
