Responsible for tracking newborn screening specimen transportation by courier service. Takes daily inventory of all newborn screening specimens delivered to the laboratory. Follow up with couriers and birthing facilities for all specimens delayed, damaged, and/or lost in transit. Facilitates the implementation of courier services at birthing facilities and pediatrician offices. Regularly leads and participates in meetings with hospitals and other stakeholders in South Carolina to improve program efficiencies.
