Perioperative Nurse Missoula
- Location: Missoula, Montana, United States
Montana Endoscopy Center has an excellent opportunity available for a full- or part-time Perioperative RN. The right candidate for this position must have:
Commitment to patient care
Excellent skills and clinical ability
2 years pre-operative and post-operative experience preferred
BLS certification, ACLS preferred
Current Montana Nursing License
The main duties of this position are:
Provide comfort and reassurance to the patient and support the patient’s right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Confirm proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice.
Perform thorough pre‐operative and post-operative patient assessments required in the outpatient setting.
Perform pre-operative and post-operative phone calls to patients.
Effectively communicate post-operative instructions with patients and families during the discharge process
