IT Specialist (Applications Development)
Provide technical leadership and guidance for the Commission's development and maintenance of the LOB applications and public facing web site.
Create, update, and interpret Commission application development IT policies; identify policy needs and priorities; prepare and implement metrics for measuring policy effectiveness.
Evaluate and recommend adoption of new or enhanced approaches to delivering IT services that includes the application of new and innovative methods and technologies, new IT developments and applications, and emerging technologies and their applications to Commission business processes.
Participates fully and authoritatively with the Chief Information Officer formulating a vision that anticipates future requirements and capabilities for the agency's web presence and services.
Research, evaluate, and report on new and emerging developments in internet and intranet products and technologies.
