The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) invites applications for the position of Transportation Maintainer 3 (Mason) located in the Winsted Maintenance Facility. This is a full time position.

Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B, with "tanker endorsement" and also Valid Medical Examiner's Card (MEC);
Must be willing to accept assignment to emergency duties, including snow and ice removal, whenever his or her services are needed;
Mandatory winter overtime from November 1 through April 30;
Various storm events will require employees to stay at work for the duration of the storm, which at times could be up to a period of several days, to include holidays and weekends;
Incumbents in this class will be required to have a 20-mile residency from the job location.
