Case Work Aides Moose Pass

The Alaska Department of Corrections, Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services is recruiting for three (3) Corrections Nurses 1/2 for the Goose Creek Correctional Center (GCCC) located in Mackenzie Point, Alaska
What you will be doing:
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Triage and assess patients
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Provide general nursing care to patients
Provide, participate, and assist in therapeutic activities;
Maintain patient medical records;
Observe, document, and report changes in the physical and mental conditions of the inmates;
Be team-oriented; and
Handle crisis situations in a calm and effective manner.
