Supervisor - Acute Laboratory
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, Acute Care, responsible for overall organization, operation, planning, personnel, and management of Clinical Laboratory. Provides technical expertise to laboratory staff and physicians. Ensures technical and operational goals are met.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or education and training equivalent to the requirements for a BS; or Rural Site Only: Meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for general supervisor
Current national certification such as Medical Technologist, American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or equivalent certification
5 years Laboratory experience
May be required to travel and/or have diverse work schedule with irregular hours and days of work
