Traffic Coordinator
Certainteed Corporation, a roofing manufacturing plant located in Oxford, NC is recruiting for a Traffic Coordinator. This is an entry level position that requires working rotating shifts.
Position requires significant experience in and around the transportation industry with the ability to deal with many different individuals in a professional manner. This position, like all jobs dealing with the public and the company’s customer base, requires self-restraint at all times. The incumbent will be part of a unit that requires a positive working relationship with three other Traffic Coordinators. Additional responsibility with security-related duties as directed and adherence to Plant Visitors During Non-routine Hour’s policy must be followed. Position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
NATURE & SCOPE OF POSITION:
Weighing in of all truck arrivals and departures in the SAP system and process all related documents.
Receive in SAP the following raw materials – asphalt, colored granules, sand, bitumar, and adhesives-PAM20/AC20.
Weigh in of 10% of all raw materials.
Facility security – first response to an emergency.
Positive working attitude toward other employees; be a team player. Work with others constructively and abide by company policies and procedures. Working together as a team for continuous improvement is vital to ensure the future of CertainTeed and its employees. Teamwork will be required to be effective in daily assignments as well as special improvement and continuous improvement projects
