Knowledge of general outpatient clinic policies and procedures in a healthcare environment.
Ability to obtain, document, and record demographic and medical information from patients in order to develop accurate medical records.
Ability to use basic ophthalmic equipment.
Knowledge of basic disinfection of non-critical reusable medication equipment (RME).
Performs visual acuity, both near and far, DMV, DOT eye exams and pre-employment visual exams.
Measure refractory power of eyeglasses, using a manual or electronic Lensometer. Records findings in medical record.
