Fish & Wildlife Technician 3 (PCN 4328) Haines

Duties of this position:
Under the supervision of a Fishery Biologist III, his position will participate in several stock assessment projects in the Chilkat River drainage throughout the field season including the spring Chinook and coho salmon smolt coded-wire tag project, the adult Chinook mark-recapture project, and the fall juvenile Chinook salmon coded-wire tag project. All of these stock assessment projects include capturing, handling, and marking adult and juvenile salmon, and collecting corresponding biological data. This position will also serve as crew leader during the fall coded-wire tag project.
