Under the direction of the Golf Course Mechanic, the Assistant Golf Course Mechanic assists and/or works independently repairing and maintaining various gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered golf course maintenance equipment and other equipment and fleet vehicles within the Vail Recreation District. The Assistant Golf Course Mechanic also assists in maintaining a clean work area and maintenance building to help contribute to an organized and efficient work facility.
