POSITION SUMMARY: The Safety Companion II provides continuous, detailed observation and surveillance of assigned patients to maintain their safety. It is a dual role that includes observation at the bedside or by the use of audio/visual devices at an off-site location. The Safety Companion II will provide light patient care duties such as repositioning, ambulating, bathing, feeding, and other activities of daily living. The Safety Companion II will record pertinent information in patient charts and communicate with patient care team members to ensure continuity of care.
