As a Mental Health Peer, you will use your own lived experience to help others. You’ll be able to share the skills, tools, and information you’ve learned to transform your own life with adult clients going through similar struggles. Peer Support Specialists instill hope while improving engagement, self-confidence, and quality of life. The majority of your time will be spent meeting with clients in community settings including residential facilities, adult foster homes, and private residences. You will regularly use agency vehicles to transport clients to important appointments or for skill building and socialization related activities.
