The Maternal Fetal Medicine Perinatal Sonographer is a skilled practitioner in assisting with the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation of care of the Perinatal OB/GYN patient. Maintaining a high standard of patient care and under indirect supervision, performs consistently accurate and high quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in the specific area of Perinatal OB/GYN in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Prepares preliminary findings for physicians and responsible for notifying physician when a life-threatening problem is identified; understands and demonstrates appropriate customer service behaviors in performance of job duties.
