Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
Accurately transcribes orders and notifies appropriate nurse in a timely manner.
Acknowledges physicians and other healthcare providers' arrival on the unit and assists them as requested. Notifies the RN/LPN of the patient's arrival, the MD arrival and/or other healthcare personnel on the unit.
