This is a developmental position; duties listed below will be performed in a developmental capacity at the GS-07, GS-08, GS-09, and GS-10 grade level. At the full performance, GS-11, the incumbent will:
Observe and investigate construction at all stages to identify problems, report potential problems, and take timely action to recommend changes to solve problems.
Monitors and controls construction operations as well as performs on-site inspections of construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
Coordinates construction activity between contractors and base utility managers and keeps project managers of using agency fully informed of all developments on the job.
