This Emergency Essential (EE) position is in the Maintenance Department for the National Training Center, Ft Irwin ,CA
The Gunsmith can design, fabricate, modify, repair and service foreign and domestic firearms, weapons and accessories. Employee possesses required knowledge in the use of hand tools, machine tools, and other equipment necessary to perform assigned duties, has the knowledge and skill to design and construct prototype small arms from drawings or customer input. This employee can design computer prototypes from customer input, has necessary knowledge of munitions and ballistics to accomplish assigned tasks
