Supervisor- Speech Pathology
Responsibilities:
Supervises Speech-Language Pathology departmental daily activities. Coordinates and supervises staff and clinical affiliates, patient care and activity schedule. Assists in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs. Trains and monitors competency of new and current personnel. Assists in staff performance evaluations. Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance. Assists Director in management of department and assumes any delegated assignments.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Graduate of an accredited college or university with Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology required.
2. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
3. Minimum of three years of experience practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting.
4. Nevada License in Speech-Language Pathology.
5. Current BLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.
