Maintenance Assistant Bedford
- Location: Bedford, New Hampshire, United States
Maintain neat, clean interior and exterior of the buildings.
Ensure that lawn and flower beds are manicured, watered and fertilized.
Ensure that roads are plowed in winter; driveways, walks, and entryways cleared of snow and salted to prevent icing.
Ensure safe and proper storage of cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools and equipment.
Participate in tasks needed to maintain buildings and ground.
Report concerns about residents' well being to Maintenance Director.
Repair equipment or requisition needed services to repair equipment.
Check daily for work requests of staff and residents.
Maintain an accurate accounting of services chargeable to residents and submit to the office by the designated date each month.
Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.
Refurbish living units for the next occupants (paint, repair holes in walls, etc.).
Assist with moving resident/community furniture as assigned.
Assist with training of new employees.
Inspect building and grounds weekly and repair items identified as needing repair; replace light bulbs.
Work schedule as assigned.
Ensure resident safety.
Complete all required competencies.
Assist with answering resident pendant system as needed.
Maintain the work order system by entering new staff/residents, updating vendors, updating apartment assignments, and completing work orders.
