This position is responsible for maintaining city property grounds, parks and fields, and performing tasks in maintenance and upkeep of city parks and beautification areas, which will require the use of various types of equipment, e.g. mowers, tractors, ATVs, backpack blowers, string trimmers and edgers. Duties include mowing, edging and working in flower beds; handling turf maintenance and athletic field preparation; cleaning restrooms and removing litter; performing general repairs and basic maintenance of park structures; and assisting with irrigation system maintenance and chemical application.
