Webmaster (Communications Representative 9-P11)
The webmaster functions as the MIOSHA website administrator and oversees the development, implementation, maintenance, daily operations, long-term planning, and evaluation of the MIOSHA website. This position manages all aspects of MIOSHA’s website, including web page creation, maintenance, metrics and overall digital marketing for MIOSHA. This position is responsible for highly complex assignments, with considerable impact on end users of MIOSHA. The webmaster oversees and maintains various web pages and related outlets, which includes researching, analyzing, reporting, and making recommendations on web content and layout to improve the user experience in accordance with MIOSHA’s goals and objectives, as well as ensuring compliance with eMichigan guidelines and policies and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The webmaster will work with MIOSHA’s Communication Specialist and other MIOSHA team members to post content, photos, videos, newsletter and other media forms to effectively relay the Agency’s mission across the website, email marketing and social media.
