Job Details:
The Director of Behavioral Health Nursing Services is responsible for the operations of all Behavioral Health Nursing care provided in emergency/crisis center, inpatient units, ambulatory clinics, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization Behavioral Health venues across all DCH locations. This role works in collaboration with other Directors of Patient Care and with the Behavioral Health Service Line Leaders. Participates as a member of the Nursing Leadership and Nursing Operations team to support the framework for planning, directing, coordinating, improving, and implementing nursing services that are responsive to the community and pediatric patients’ and family needs. Supports shared governance, destination always and all quality and safety initiatives. Participates in the formulation of policies within the areas of responsibility in the organization. Active in information management focused on enhancing and improving individual and organizational performance in patient care, governance, management, and process improvements. Participates in improving organizational performance, taking into consideration process analysis while recognizing the importance of individual staffing competency.
