Registered Nurse - Quality Management
The RN duties include, but not limited to the following:
Assisting the medical center in compliance with performance improvements and accreditation.
Coordinate all External Peer Review Program (EPRP) activities.
Systematically evaluates documentation of practice and makes recommendations based on review.
Performs in a leadership role of a consultant to providers, nursing and other interdisciplinary staff.
Collaborates with the Chief, Quality Management, providers and nursing staff to assist in problem solving related to quality improvement.
Participates in assuring implementation of standards of care related to quality management.
Leads performance improvement activities (i.e. collection and evaluation of performance improvement data).
Consults and collaborates with members of the health care team to identify and resolve educational problems affecting quality improvement.
Maintains knowledge and skills of accreditation and other regulatory agencies.
