The UCSF Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Clinic is hiring a nurse practitioner to join our primary care and specialty practice. The NP will provide acute and preventive health care services (conducting patient histories and physical exams), deliver developmentally and culturally appropriate, factual patient education and counseling.
They maintain appropriate documentation, initiate and manage ongoing treatment as necessary, and follow-up on abnormal labs and physical findings. Other responsibilities may include telehealth visits, telephone triage, and inbasket management.
