Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing multi-media environmental sampling across the state of North Carolina for emerging contaminants, including PFAS compounds. This will include sampling preparation, such as ordering supplies and setting up online environmental applications for recording sample location and other field data, as well as data management and submission to data management systems after sampling events. Field work will also include contacting residents and property owners to gain sampling permissions and related documents. Data work will also include data entry and management in online systems to record and share data with others on the team, preparation of data for public records requests and reports, and other data management and reporting as requested.
