Product Research Development Scientist

Lead new product development, innovation, and renovation for Owens Corning Fiberglass Building Insulation business. This role is responsible for owning product development and innovation opportunities through optimizing and improving existing products and developing new products. The role is accountable for the design, coordination and execution of ethnographic, qualitative, and quantitative research methods to define end-user needs and the technical requirements necessary to drive Owens Corning’s Residential, Commercial and Industrial Insulation business. This work will include developing new test methods and equipment, collecting and analyzing data, leading Intellectual Property strategy, and planning and coordinating trials in our manufacturing facilities. This position works closely with Product Managers, R&D, Legal and Manufacturing.
