2001 BMW Series 3 325Cic Convertible 2D Santa Rosa

Selling my 2001 BMW 325ci 5-speed convertible in very good condition. 106,500 miles on the odometer. It runs great. After a few days/weeks not driving it, the belts are a little squeaky. I have no evidence it’s leaking much, if any oil. Very smooth running throughout the RPM and road speed range, and through each of the five gears. I have owned the car since October 2020 and have put about 1,000 miles on it. The car was either kept garaged or under a cover.

Outside: Only small dents. Some paint swirling and superficial scratching that can be treated with paint correction. Paint condition is probably a 7/10. Body panels are all intact and look good. Shortly after I purchased the car, I had a new windshield put on as the old one was pitted and had terrible glare. The new windshield is a TriVal and was professionally installed by Advanced Auto Glass in Santa Rosa along with new cowling (which I provided) and gasket.

Inside: Driver’s seat leather shows wear. Power seat adjustments all work. Electrical is all good. I replaced the stock/broken headunit with a Dynavin N7. Currently, there is a mismatch in compatibility between the existing antenna connectors and the head unit. Therefore, only the strongest FM stations come in, and I do not get any AM reception. I bought the head unit specifically for Apple CarPlay, with which it works flawlessly. I have the original harnesses and accessories for the Dynvain stereo. I replaced the old/cracked/worn armrest with the “Euro arm rest delete,” so practically the entire center console is brand new except for the shifter boot. Passenger seats are all in very good condition. I replaced the convertible top cover ports with new ones, as the originals were cracked and didn’t attach to the springs any longer. AC blows cold and heat works fine.

Driving: It drives smooth and as good as any of the other 325s I drove while shopping for this car. It has brand new Michelin tires from Costco that have less than 800 miles on them. Stable on the freeway and handles great on the twisty roads.
